Sam and Izzy are crazy in love and I was honored to be able to travel with them to the Dominican Republic to capture their wedding. During our planning meeting we discussed doing a Trash-the-Dress/casual session while in Punta Cana. On the day I arrived, I suggested we get up early the next morning to capture some sunrise shots on the beach since the sunset would happen on the opposite side of the island. We really lucked out as the light at the beach was perfectly overcast and buttery soft. The sun began to rise in a sweet spot towards one end of the beach and seemed to just hang there below some really cool, dark clouds. Typically I am not a early morning person, but if this kind of magic can happen this early in the morning I might just have to rethink my whole anti-morning stance.
